In-Home Lab Connection Inc. provides on-site laboratory specimen collection services to those who are homebound, in a care-facility or find it difficult or inconvenient to travel to a clinic for laboratory specimen collection.
Highly skilled and very caring nurses and techs travel to the patient’s location to collect blood, urine and stool specimens; throat, wound and blood cultures; and to change urethral and suprapubic catheters.
Laboratory specimens are collected and then delivered to major medical center laboratories and the laboratory results are faxed to the health-care provider, facility and/or homecare agency. Healthy Feet Division: provides foot care services and toenail trimming by registered nurses and licensed practical nurses in the comfort and convenience of the individual's home. In-Home Lab Connection Inc. strives always to ensure the comfort and maintain the dignity of the patient while assuring quality and convenience to the caregivers and health-care providers. In-Home Lab Connection Inc. is owned and operated by Barbara Drealan, a certified medical technologist who has more than 30 years of direct laboratory experience including directing the special hematology lab at a major medical center and by Kathy Valusek a certified geriatric nurse practitioner who has more than 30 years of experience in homecare and direct healthcare of geriatric patients. In-Home Lab Connection Inc. is available to provide laboratory specimen collection and footcare services Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm for routine laboratory collection; and on weekends and in the evenings for urgent needs.

We can help make feet healthy!
Poor foot hygiene can lead to a deterioration in stability, to poor health and a decline in level of comfort and quality of life. A visit by an LPN every 2-3 months ensures that the individual's feet are monitored for deleterious changes, that problems are identified and reported, that the nails are trimmed, and that feet are soaked and massaged. While the feet are the recipient of tender, loving care; each foot-care client is also the recipient of pampering!
